The Ovenbird

The Ovenbird is a migrant but one of the most common warblers seen in the Everglades. The Ovenbird lives on the ground and depends heavily on camouflage. It frequently will remain motionless until an intruder almost steps on it , taking off only at the last second. And it is a member of the wood warbler family.
