The Variegated Fairy-wren. The breeding male Variegated Fairy-wren is brightly colored. The crown and sides of the head are blue, and the shoulder patch is a rich chestnut. The Variegated Fairy-wren is found in forest, woodland and shrub land habitats. This bird lives in most of Australia. The Variegated Fairy-wren is a member of the fairy-wren family.
