The Painted Redstart






The Painted Redstart is a medium-sized warbler with a black hood and back it has a bright red chest and belly. It's wings are black with white patches it's tail is black with white edges. Sexes are similar. Juveniles have a black breast and belly. This bird breeds in southern Arizona and New Mexico. The number of their eggs is 3-4. They are a member of the wood warbler family.
